Working pattern: 38 hours per week.

Salary: £35,000 Per Annum (Pro rata if 0.8FTE)

Purpose

Stricklandgate House Trust is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to lead and manage our National Lottery Heritage Fund Project: Stricklandgate House 4 Sustainable Heritage: Where heritage meets the day-to-day (SGH4SH).

A development grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund will help us redevelop and enhance Stricklandgate House to become a heritage and community hub in addition to strengthening is core business supporting the third sector.

You will helps shape a reimagined building featuring exhibition space for heritage and culture, a community hub in the centre of Kendal and a strengthened Third Sector hub.

The Project Coordinator will lead the design of a programme of heritage activities in collaboration with heritage organisations and shape the community hub which will deliver community facing activities and events.

Heritage information and interpretation will feature on site and the building will be enabled to move to net zero.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with substantial experience in project management, heritage, community engagement and the third sector.
